I think it will be impossible to sleep a wink due to pure excitement and anticipation for Monday January 7th 2013! The famous quote, “Life is a Journey, not a Destination” beautifully describes the planning of this photoshoot… it’s been a journey that has been absolutely amazing!!
Nearly 1 year ago I reached out to one of Westchester’s Best Wedding Photographers and friend, Ricky Restiano. My idea was to put together a small photo shoot for my website update. I quickly got Diane Mammama, owner of Salon Posh and personal friend, involved to take care of hair for the photo shoot. I have a habit of “going BIG” when I get involved with something and that is exactly what happened! Soon we had a 15K square foot mansion in Harrison, Silverstar Limo was providing a Phantom and the Waldorf Astoria was sending a Wedding cake. Models that were hand selected from all over after sending in their head shot arrived by 6:30am, bouquets from Monica Chimes Floral Inc. were right behind the arrival of the ladies. Couture wedding gowns were provided by Be Unique Boutique in Mount Kisco. The day unfolded seamlessly and Channel 12 News visited the photo shoot as well as other media and press multiple times throughout the day. That day was the GREATEST day of my entire career and I have the fondest memories – it was a milestone.
This past September, I called Ricky Restiano and he knew exactly what I was thinking. We set the date, Monday January 7th 2013. Diane of Salon Posh, Ricky & I conferenced called with each other and met countless times, excitement and creative ideas seeping out of our pores for the 2nd Annual Photo Shoot. I have loved every moment of the planning and inviting exclusive other vendors to join our photo shoot. In planning this incredible photo shoot, we used last year as a blue print and adopted the concept of “Let’s Go Big or Go Home!” This year designer dresses are from Fontana’s located in Greenwich, CT. We included a “Best of Westchester” Baker, La Renaissance in Scarsdale. Collectively, we decided that an improvement from last year would be an incredible DJ, and went straight to “Best of Westchester”, Jimmy Dee Music Productions. Securing a site to host this amazing photo shoot was difficult, so many options and only one location needed. We settled on Westchester Magazine’s Dream Home at Hudson Harbour in Tarrytown NY.
