The Beautiful Side of Divorce

The Beautiful Side of Divorce

The recent blog I posted about Westchester partaking in a “Botox Party” versus a “Tupper ware Party” really created a variety of responses.  In particular I received an email from an Entertainment Agency looking for affluent couples in the NY/NJ area that are currently separated or in the process of divorcing that can benefit from working with a well known divorce attorney to mediate (versus litigate) the division of their assets.

I found this interesting enough to Blog about.  Please allow me to say that I have never been married, I am only sharing my experience of listening and processing the information I receive to form personal opinions.  I have clients that are separated, going through a “rough time,” in the middle of a divorce, having a mid life crisis, etc.  They come to me, their Beauty Expert to assist them in Cosmetic Wardrobing, a Makeup Consultation, Infinity Airbrush Tanning, Waxing, etc.  The typical woman that comes to me while experiencing the above in her life is looking to feel good.  She wants to feel pretty, desirable, alive and new!  I assist any way possible because as a Beauty Expert and JKFlashy Luxury Makeup Artist it is my obligation to make her feel amazing about herself.  Feeling good about oneself comes from within, however, when a person does not, sometimes the cliche “fake it till you make it” is relevant.  This “rough time” most of the time is devastating, however taking action such as being Airbrushed Tanned or revamping your Cosmetics can make this a new and fun, exciting time filled with discovery.  I think the term “bitter sweet” is very appropriate; a relationship or time in one’s life is ending and a new period marked by new actions and taking care of oneself sometimes for the first time in years is the sweetest journey one may embark on.  Women that use this period of time to pamper themselves and indulge in Beauty regiments and services that they have never experienced or ceased perhaps when they got married find a new freedom and pleasure.  The greatest part of my career is providing a service, teaching a makeup technique or sharing a new product that enhances a feature.  Each and every person I service teaches me something and I am confident that I change a life or two in this intimate experience of “doing makeup.”
